Carl Bark created the cartoon character Scrooge McDuck in 1947 for The Walt Disney Company. Scrooge is a Scottish-born American anthropomorphic Pekin Duck who appears in Disney comics. He shares a yellow-orange bill, legs, and feet with his nephew Donald Duck. He typically wears a top hat, pince-nez glasses, a red or blue frock coat, and a variety of colored spats. In the animation, he is shown speaking with a Scottish accent.
