The use of herbs to benefit from its medicinal or therapeutic value is commonly known as herbal medicine. The substances in medicinal plants may have to act on the body of the person consuming it. In general, the herbalist is based on the traditional uses as a basis for prescribing drugs herbal or herbal supplements. Because most herbs have a wide range of therapeutic use, both internally and externally, it can sometimes be confusing or even an apparent contradiction that the choice of a remedy.
