What Does Miami Have to Offer?

views

Miami does not need an introduction- chances are you have seen this city in numerous music videos, TV shows, and movies, all surrounding the fact that it is a tropical climate filled with partying, glamour, beaches, and endless activities for you and your family or friends. It is a city that will give you the urge to get dressed up and dance for hours while soaking up the warm weather and carefree vibes. Clear blue skies, the ocean, and hundreds of grassy, green parks will give you a taste of nature not far from what you see on the big screen. Below we detail what Miami has to offer and how you can get the best experience should you be a tourist or even a local.

1. Visit Miami Beach

The beaches of Miami come with soft, white sand and crystal blue waters. Even if you are not a beachgoer, there are tons of other things to explore like the endless restaurants, shops, and parks on the beach. Our favorite spot in Miami Beach is South Pointe, which is a grassy park just on the other side of the boardwalk that lines the beach. There is a jungle gym type park, grassy hills and a flat area which is usually occupied by yoga or pilates classes, especially during the fall and winter months when it’s a bit warmer. Along with this is also a marina specifically for yachts. You can walk along the marina and check out the boats or go the opposite way and walk, run, or bike the miles-long boardwalk with the beach on your right and an endless row of nice hotels on your left.

2. Go to Jungle Island

Jungle Island, formerly known as Parrot Jungle, is an eco-adventure park filled with many animals and tropical landscapes that make you feel as if you are in a different country. Winston Churchill famously visited Jungle island in 1946 which brought attention and a long-standing good reputation to this attraction. Not to mention Jungle Island is in a great location, minutes from both Downtown Miami as well as South Beach.

3.Bayside Marketplace

Bayside Marketplace is an outdoor shopping plaza with over 150 different specialty shops, restaurants, and cafes right in the heart of Downtown. Bayside is a common stop for people going to a Heat game because of its close vicinity to the American Airlines Arena. This is a great place to go with friends or family to enjoy the good weather and different activities it has to offer. With it being right on the water, many different boats, yachts, or cruising rentals are available here. For yacht rentals, click the link here: https://yachtrentalmiamifl.com/.

4.Vizcaya Museum & Gardens

One of Miami’s oldest-standing gardens is Vizcaya which is complete with Italian-Reinassance style architecture, gardens, and artwork which makes a visit here more than enjoyable. 34 different rooms are scattered around a beautiful courtyard, with European furniture and art hanging on the walls. 28 acres boast a unique design and age-old architecture usually only found throughout Europe.

5.Little Havana

You will find doses of Cuban culture all throughout the city, but it is most densely-populated in Little Havana. Social entertainment areas, restaurants, and predominantly Spanish speaking residents make you feel as if you were on the island itself.

To Conclude

Miami has tons to offer, whether you want to hang out in Downtown, the beach, Art Deco District, or Coral Gables, you’ll find your way to some locations more than worth your time. If you are coming for a trip, plan your days out ahead of time to get the most out of your time there. Above are only a few different things to do, whereas if you check on Google, you will find much, much more. Thank you for reading, let us know if you have any suggestions of your own!
