After six long months, the new NFL season is finally upon us.
The 2023/ 2024 season kicked off in spectacular fashion with the Detroit Lions shocking the defending Super Bowl Champions, the Kansas City Chiefs in their own backyard to send the sporting world into chaos.

Kansas City Chiefs

Beaten in last year’s Super Bowl, many believe that the Philadelphia Eagles can return to the promised land once again. Widely regarded as having the most talented roster in the entire NFL, the Eagles can count on the attacking talents of Jalen Hurts, DeVonta Smith and A.J Brown.
Boasting a loaded defense, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see the Eagles win the NFC for the second successive season.
Cincinnati Bengals
Ever since Joe Burrow was taken as the first pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, it’s fair to say that life for the Cincinnati Bengals hasn’t been the same. Burrow has helped elevate his franchise to new heights, which has seen him recently become the NFL’s highest paid player.
The Bengals lost in the Super Bowl back in 2021 and will be desperate to reach the sport’s grandest stage again. With the ability to light up the scoreboard, the Bengals look set to be a major force once more.
San Franciso 49ers
The San Francisco 49ers have been the NFC’s most consistent team over the past few seasons and were only denied a spot in last year’s Super Bowl by the Philadelphia Eagles.
Coach Kyle Shanahan has long been regarded as one of the brightest minds in the game, and with a defense that can suffocate and swarm any opposition offence, the 49ers will be hoping to go a step further this year.
Buffalo Bills
Rewind twelve months, and it was the Buffalo Bills who were the favorites to win the Super Bowl. It ended up being a tough season for the Bills, who couldn’t quite live up to the pre-season hype. Josh Allen had his poorest season to date and the gun slinging quarterback will need to rediscover the form that made him one of the most dangerous players in the game. With a lot to prove this year, look for the Bills to make a serious postseason charge this time around.
New York Jets
For the first time in decades, pundits across the U.S. believe that the New York Jets have a serious chance of winning their first Super Bowl since 1969.
Boosted by the offseason acquisition of four-time MVP Aaron Rodgers, the Jets will hope that Sauce Gardner and Garret Wilson will be able to continue where they left off and build on their superb rookie campaigns.
