how to put together aqua culture aquarium

Aqua culture aquarium is one of the most famous aquariums on Amazon. It’s affordable, it’s easy to set up, and you don’t need an expensive Aquarium Air Pumps with this aquarium.

Today we are going to learn how to put together an aqua culture aquarium. Without further ado, let’s jump right into it.

Step 1

Buy the aquarium. There are many different versions of the aquarium available on the market. You need to find the one that you like the most and buy it.

Step 2

Take out the package and confirm that your aquarium tank hasn’t been damaged in shipping. It’s not uncommon for that to happen. Before you even start the aquarium, complete the installation first.

Step 3

Tank placement. You need to make sure that the tank is placed in a wide space. Avoid any clustered area if possible. Tank placement will also play a key role when you later install the air-filter pump.

Step 4

Before placing water into the aquarium, make sure to clean everything. It will clear all the dirt from the surface. This includes all the aquarium stones, plastic plants, and any other decorations that you may want to add.

Please keep in mind, decorations aren’t included in the aquarium package. You need to buy them separately.

Step 5

Do not mix batteries, I repeat never mix old batteries with a new battery. It will permanently damage the controller. You will need to replace the entire controller if that happens.

If your controller is acting up, just replace both batteries at the same time. Don’t mix batteries by any means.

Step 6

This is an optional step, if you don’t want to install LED lights, then ignore this step.

But if your aquarium comes with a LED kit (most aquarium does). You absolutely should install the set.

You can power the LEDs with a separate micro-USB connector.

Step 7

Now that all the steps are done, it’s time to add water into the tank. Leave at least 2 inches from the top, fill the rest of the tank. You need to clean the water from chlorine and chloramines. You can do that by dropping de-chlorinator directly on to the water. Yes, you can do that after filling the tank. You don’t need to do that beforehand. Before you get into inserting fish, the water will be clean and safe for fishes.

Step 8

Install the power filter. There should be an adjustable bracket at the inside of the box. Place the hanger bracket at a 90 degrees angle and align on the mounting post. Keep rotating it upwards till the hanger is vertical. You can install the filter inside the aquarium by hanging it on the aquarium rim. To adjust the filter, you can simply rotate the hanger.

Step 9

After installing the filter, it’s time to introduce the fishes. Before you let the fishes go into the water, float the bag of the fishes on top of the water for 10-15 minutes. This will help the fishes to get familiar with their turf.

Open the bag in such a manner, that the fishes don’t get scared. Don’t haste in this process.

Keep this process up for around 10 minutes. Till the fish, the bag is filled with tank water.

After that scoop out the fishes and gently place them inside the tank.

In case of the filter, you can install an air pump if you want. Or any kind fo aquarium pump that you fancy. You can also opt for sponge filters. They are some of the best in the market.
