From Liz and Dick to Don and Melanie, here’s the list of celebrity couples who married the same person twice. Some couples took a breather between marriages, while others took even years before they got married again (and few of those couples are still going stronger than ever).

1. Pamela Anderson

Pamela Anderson was married to film producer Rick Salomon from 2007 to 2008. After six years, the blonde bombshell and Salomon got hitched again in 2014, although the date of their second wedding was undisclosed.

2. Elizabeth Taylor

Taylor, who’s famous for her string of marriages as well as for her acting, first wed actor Richard Burton in 1964 and divorced him in 1974. Then the couple married again in 1975 but less than a year later they split up again, this time for good.

3. Eminem


Famous rapper Eminem — Marshall Mathers in real life — first married Kim Scott from 1999; two years later the couple split. They got re-married in January 2006 but divorced again the following April. They have one daughter, Hallie, whom the now-estranged couple are sharing custody.

Here’s one famous person who got married to two different wives in two different times each. The late comedian Richard Pryor dated Jennifer Lee in the late 1970s and married her in 1981, but divorced in 1982. Then he was married to Flynn Belaine from 1986 to 1987; they remarried in 1990 but divorced again in 1991. Pryor remarried Lee in 2001, and remained together until Pryor’s death 2005. Pryor was also famous for his marriages, having been wed a total of seven times in his life.

Thirteen years after their first marriage, Griffith and Johnson remarried; their daughter, actress Dakota Johnson, was born in 1989. In 1994 Griffith and Johnson separated, reconciled later that year, but soon they went apart again. Around that period, Griffith also started a relatonship with actor Antonio Banderas, who was also married at that time. After their respective divorces, Griffith and Banderas married in 1996. In 2014, the couple announced they were divorcing.
