Corinth was established in 1880 when the Dallas-Wichita railroad came through the area. Corinth’s growth was quite slow, with its population only at 461 by 1970. When Intestate Highway 35 was built near Corinth, the town’s population still remained small, though other cities began to grow around it due to more incoming residents.

Population explosion in the 1990s

Corinth’s relative dormancy changed tremendously through the 1990s, when it witnessed a population explosion by a whopping 187%. In February 2002, Corinth’s numbers grew to 16,000 people, making it one of the fastest-growing towns in Texas in terms of population. As of the 2010 census, there are 19,935 people who call Corinth their home.

Attractive community with accessibility to modern facilities
