You will need a four-wheel drive to navigate the sand dunes and bumpy road leading to the beach. The 17-mile stretch of beach on Kauai’s wester shore is easily one of Hawaii most beautiful beaches. From the Napali cliffs to Niihau (the forbidden island), the beach offers fantastic views. It is the perfect place to get away from the crowds of tourists and enjoy the best of untouched Hawaiian landscapes.
Ko Olina Beach, Oahu
If you’re looking for a place for family fun, head down to Ko Olina Beach on Oahu. The beautiful Hawaiian beach is located on the western side of Oahu. The beach is especially popular during the winter months between November through to February when the waves swell to new height. While it is not advisable to swim in the waters due to the strong currents, the long stretch of beach located on the northeastern shores of Lanai is the best place to spot humpback whales as well as green sea turtles. Makena Beach, Maui
Also known as Big Beach in Maui, this beach is popular amongst both tourists and locals. It’s the perfect spot for family fun on the beach. Enjoy local delicacies served from trucks and parks along the beach. It’s the perfect time to try some chicken tacos, shrimp or even mahi-mahi.
Papaohaku Beach, Molokai
