You do have to consider some factors. of course, you need to see just how much budget you have, and the space in your reception area. If you are getting a band that has 10 or more musicians and there is not enough space, you might not have much of a dance floor anymore.  Also be sure to know your favorite artist such as Michael Bolton, Smokey Robinson and others.

4. Showband

Jazz bands and other specialty bands are great, but if you want more variety in the songs for your wedding. why not go for a showband? Showbands usually play covers of popular songs, so you can be sure that they have many songs in their repertoire.

5. DJ

If you do not have much of a budget, you can also hire a DJ. They will cost less because it is usually just one person handling the booth, but that would not make your reception less perfect than others.
