Bus
Barcelona airport isn’t just a welcoming area for holidaymakers, and you may notice that many people heading for departure are in fact, locals! Bus services run through Barcelona airport every 5-10 minutes, which means that you could always hop on a bus instead! For a very lowly price of around 2.15€, you could be at your destination very quickly! Keep in mind that bus services only run from 6.30 am until 11.30 pm, so if your flight is outside of those times you may have to wait around for a little while. Perhaps you could do some duty-free shopping!
Train
Another option to consider is, of course, taking a train! Barcelona airport has a train station that departs every 30 minutes or so which could be super convenient for you! Trains are often fitted with air conditioning too, as well as having the luxury of plenty of space for your luggage, and seating with charger points too. Again, trains only run from 6 am until 11 pm, so it may mean waiting a little while before being able to board. You should also check how far away your hotel is from the station at the other end so that you’re not dragging your luggage for long distances! For around 4€ each way, you can’t complain about the price!
