4 Skincare Tips For Those In a Hurry

views

Are you struggling to take care of your skin but too busy to do anything about it? Are you putting off doing any kind of skin care routine because it will take too much time out of your day? Neglecting your skin has become more and more popular as prices of products increase drastically and the information about lengthy skins care routines becomes overwhelming. So many people throw any kind of skin care out the window which ultimately results in acne, aging and wrinkling skin, and so much more. Forget those extensive, lengthy processes that beauty gurus’ insist on and try following these 4 skincare tips for those in a hurry.

Wash Your Face Before Bed

After a long and tiresome day all you want to do is curl up in bed and maybe watch some TV. The last thing you would want to do it spend a whole lot of time on a lengthy skin care routine. However, it is very important to wash your face with a gentle cleanser before going to bed. By removing all the makeup and dirt from your face you can allow your skin to breathe and increase the productivity of the skin rejuvenation process. Makeup will block up your pores and will almost ultimately leave you with blackheads and blemishes

A clean face before bed also reduces the amount of dirt, bacteria, and oil buildup that transfers from your skin to your pillow at night and therefore decreases the risk of a breakout.

Have a Simple Skincare Routine

There are a few more products to add to your collection in order to keep your skin young and healthy. The same gentle cleanser that you use at night can be used first thing in the morning to wash away the sleep and prep your skin for the products that follow.

Sunscreen in the morning is an absolute must! The sun can be very harsh and especially damaging to face skin which is far more sensitive than the rest of your skin. Not only is the sun damaging to you skin but it is also aging it much faster. Sunscreen can slow down the effect of the sun and could be considered the best anti-aging tool.

Sometimes moisturizer can seem like an irrelevant product, but if you put it into perspective, the skin is the body’s largest organ, and it’s incredibly easy for it to lose hydration. By using a good moisturizer twice a day, you add back the necessary hydration which leaves your skin looking plump and youthful. If you’re not a fan of having to use all these creams you can actually get combination creams like this moisturizer from Misumi which is combined with SPF30 sunscreen.

Eat The Right Food

Focusing on what you eat might not be your first thought when it comes to clearing up your skin because food and skin don’t seem so obviously related. When it comes down to the basics, there are foods that are especially good for your skin and foods that will make your breakouts even worse.

Foods that are good for your skin are omega-3 fatty acids such as salmon and walnuts which fight wrinkle-causing inflammation. Alongside these foods, you should also try citrus fruits to enhance collagen production for a more youthful look, and foods such as tomatoes and grapefruit that contain lycopene, which protects against sun damage.

Pastries, sweets, treats, and junk food are all fantastic comfort foods, but you should consider cutting back or eliminating foods containing so much sugar. Sugar is especially bas for your skin as it heightens your glycemic index, which is a measure of how food affects your blood sugar.

Stress and Exercise

Long busy days can leave you feeling unbelievably stressed and tired. You wouldn’t think it, but this too can add to acne popping up unannounced. Try taking a yoga class or sitting in a quiet place and meditating for a bit to lower your stress levels. Another way help reduce stress while also actively trying to reduce your acne, is to exercise. Exercise is fantastic for the skin as it creates the necessary blood circulation to accelerate the cleansing process of the entire body.

Take a few minutes out of your day to look after your skin and you, no doubt, will see a difference. I did mean to accompany this with a video but I accidentally deleted the video and was unable to recover it (see here), maybe next time.
