Heading to the beach this summer? What you bring along will go a long way in making your vacation a success. Here’s the ultimate packing list for the beach.

A swimsuit is one of the most important things to have on your packing list for the beach.

If you are planning on going to the beach for multiple days, then you should bring some of your designer swimwear.

There are all kinds of fun swimsuits that you can choose from. However, when buying swimsuits with fun straps, keep in mind what tan lines you’ll have afterward.

Sunscreen is important to bring, but make sure that you grab the right kind.

Some sunscreens have chemicals in them that actually destroy the coral reefs and other sea life when you get into the water.

There are sunscreens out there that are safe to wear into the water without harming the sea life, so buy one of those before doing a few laps in the waves.

Floaties can be a fun and relaxing way to enjoy the waves.

Floaties come in all kinds of different fun options. You could buy an inflatable alligator and pretend that you are riding him on top of the waves.

Another popular one is a giant unicorn float. Climb onto this one and snap the perfect aesthetic photo for your Instagram!

Sunscreen is important, but it can be nice to have some kind of shelter while you are lounging at the beach.

An umbrella or a tent that you can easily pitch on the sand is great for this. Sometimes you can buy an umbrella that also doubles as a tent.

Water Bottle

When you are planning your tour, make sure that you bring a water bottle as well.

Plastic bottles can ruin the environment, and it is so much easier to have a reusable water bottle that you can fill up anywhere.

You’ll need it to make sure that you stay hydrated as you spend all day in the sun.

If you are going to be spending an entire day on the beach, you will most likely want to bring some food.

You don’t want to give up your perfect spot! Bring food that is easy to eat and bring. Things like sandwiches, chips, and cookies are often beach favorites.

When you are ready to wrap up your day at the beach, you’ll also want to wrap up in a towel to dry off.

You can also use your towel to lie out on the sand and tan for a little bit if you want. There are even new towels that you can buy where the sand will go right through the towel.

That means you can lie on the beach without having to worry about constantly brushing sand off.
