Domaine des Hauts de Sanziers Saumur Blanc 2011 – France
Domaine des Hauts de Sanziers Saumur Blanc is a great white wine that is perfect for the spring. This wine is perfect to enjoy in the evenings on a romantic date night, as they’re light and fruity – not too heavy! It has floral notes yet it is not overpowering. It has tropical fruit in its flavor profile and it is both crisp and balanced. This wine deserves a spot in your fridge. It pairs nicely with chicken, turkey, or seafood. It costs on average $14.
Landhaus Mayer Gruner Veltliner 2014 – Austria
Landhaus Mayer Gruner Veltliner, a green and flinty white wine made in Austria. It is a fantastic choice for pairing with dishes that have a lot of texture. Green and flinty wines are typically light-bodied and have fruity flavors of apple, pear, citrus, peach, honeydew melon, grapefruit, strawberries. Landhaus Mayer Gruner Veltliner is especially good for its strong mineral flavor but has the perfect amount of fruitiness to it as well. It pairs well with white fish and goes particularly well with dishes that have cheese or cream sauce. The average price range is $18.
Los Vascos Le Dix 2016 – Chile
Los Vascos Le Dix 2016 is a wine with a floral aroma and notes of ripe plum and cherry. This easy-to-drink wine has a smooth and supple finish. The wine is smooth with a long finish, not too tart but not too sweet either. It is nicely textured, with a fine aromatic cuvée. With complex aromas, this wine is perfect for any occasion. Silver Oak Cabernet Sauvignon Alexander Valley 2017 – United States
All the wines in the Silver Oak portfolio are made from grapes grown exclusively in America’s premier wine-producing regions. The Alexander Valley has a temperate climate with a grape-growing season that is longer than most other U.S. wine regions, making it an ideal place for growing grapes that have concentrated flavors and fine textures. This Cabernet Sauvignon from the Alexander Valley drinks well at any age and pairs well with beef, lamb, venison, or duck dishes, as well as pasta carbonara or a spicy Indian curry dish.
What Wine Suits Your Palate?
Wine can be a complicated topic to understand. It is not always easy to figure out which wine suits your taste. Properly handled a great wine can be enjoyed several days after being opened.
A good Cabernet Sauvignon needs to have a heavy tannin content and it should be made from grapes that are rich in tannins. The Black Book Cabernet Sauvignon is perfect for foodies because it pairs well with anything! Some of my favorites are pasta dishes or spicy curry. The flavor of the wine never gets too overpowering so you can enjoy your wine all evening long!
Los Vascos Le Dix wine will suit your taste buds and it’s delicious. The grapes offer the perfect balance between the subtle and the bold. The Los Vascos Le Dix wine is the result of over twenty years of work. It is made by a family with decades of experience in wine production. This complex yet light blend is ideal for any occasion, making it the perfect choice when you’re looking for an alternative to Rose.
