Top-Films-of-the-1940s
The 1940s were an era where feature films began to really flourish. This particular decade witnessed a lot of many classic films, as well as the actors and directors who made enduring impact on filmmaking. One of these directors was Frank Capra, who was behind the now-holiday classic It’s a Wonderful Life, and Orson Welles with his most well-known masterpiece Citizen Kane (which he also produced and acted). Actor Humphrey Bogart made his most unforgettable works during this decade.
